After the vigil got mapserved, after a half hour of being in queue, me and the coupld people I knew danced to the end in Pocket-D. For the record, Grimchurch is the woman in the white dress there...yes, the black wolf thing turned into a little woman with claws and pointy ears.
We all were mapserved again five minutes before the servers were brought down. I managed to get on and /Shout to the room the same thing I did every time I got 'served tonight, "I GET KNOCKED DOWN< BUT I GET UP AGAIN< YE"RE NEVER GONNA KEEP ME DOWN!" JUST as the servers switched off.
According to one of my friends, it was the LAST thing everybody in that part of Pocket-D saw before the end; in her words, "You just WON City of Heroes."
Sure doesn't feel like a win.

You might be interested that http://www.kickstarter.com/projects.....city-of-titans is happening. The old City of Hero's community never gave up and it looks like they will be making a spiritual successor. They are working on this game for free AFTER their jobs, the money is for tools like Autodesk Maya and 3dStudiomax. 130k since it opened this morning and going strong currently averaging nearly $140 per backer. Spread the word :3.

Yeah, I'm keeping an eye on it. If servers are still stable after the new year rolls over I'll make an account. I wanna give time for potential NCSoft shenanigans and give them time to stablize their server hosting since that one server went down and people almost lost their stuff. I'm watching it closely though :). Thanks for spreading the word <3 *hugs*.
