This thing which is currently unnamed because the original name sounded too much like something that was already a thing u__u; is a species of thing I made up, it's been my life's work since Wednesday.

They live in small communities in mountainous areas, the long hoof-like hooks they have for arms are used for climbing nearly vertical mountainous rocky walls wish ease. Since They can't really use their hands for practical reasons, they use their tongues (which are about 12 feet long, very thick and incredibly strong) for most things. They can sometimes have small, spiraled antlers.

They are all hermaphrodites, the only different between "male" and "female" being breasts. There are about 3 males for every 1 female born. When choosing a mate, they are pretty nosy and will openly make comments about pairs that are ill suited for one another or a good match. Traditionally, the shorter they are, the closer they are to the earth goddess and therefor considered more "feminine". Wide hips are also considered more feminine since they link wide hips to being able to bear children easily. Taller ones, which are closer to their god are usually the ones who do not bear children as they are considered more masculine and less suited for it.

Females are taken at birth and brought to the Sisterhood, which acts as Council to the village and also nurtures the young until they are old enough to stand on their own, which is when they are returned to the parents if they wish to take them in. If not, they continue to live and study at the Sisterhood.

They generally have orange, brown, or yellowish fur. Their manes, which go all the way down their back and end in a tiny tail, can be pinkish, red, or brown. Their eyes are generally a shade of blue or green, occasionally they can be brown. They can wear clothing such as dresses or cloaks if they are high enough in rank in their society.
