Awww this is so cute! He's very very energetic -- which is probably why the leash is important. Or else he'd be in Timbuktu by now. :) But I love how you gave him this sense of energy, with the leash taut at full extent and in fact supporting his weight, or he'd fall over, leaning as he is. And yet the grownup seems to be barely pulling on it, showing that he's small and not very strong compared to her.
