The sheer irresponsibility of allowing them to live together also goes for their food... Rabbits should never have free access to rat food, too much protein and will cause digestive problems for the rabbit. And Rabbit food will not sustain a rat; if you keep two bowls, one for rat and one for rabbit, in there then its a definite the rabbit is most likely getting at it or at least getting some of it. I do fear that one day the rats may turn on the rabbit or once your rabbit reaches maturity end up hurting the rats. Rats are opportunistic and can kill animals for their meat if they become determined.

Well they are on different feed the bunny does not eat or like so no problem there. And I guess if something happens sucks ass to be me.

Sucks ass to be the animal. You will only experience the emotional part of potential issues where the animals themselves have to live it and the possible physical and internal problems it may create.
Dogs shouldnt eat cat food, Cats shouldnt eat dog food. Bad things do eventually happen if its too consistently done. Cats can go blind because dog food doesnt contain taurine, dogs can get kidney problems cause cat food contains too much protein for them. Food for thought for the overall, long term, health of your animals. What is fine now, might not be fine in a year or so.

Well they all eat their own food so all is good. But the last 6 or so hours has been harassment so can we drop this now I'm not going to do what anyone tells me too I do what works for me you so what works for you

I think its great the rabbit and rats live together! My guinea pigs and chinchillas use to live together but my chinchillas were unhappy since the guinea pig cage was only one level

yeah my chinchila has a huge cage.. she lives alone tho.. the person i got her from said she might be preganat.. if she is ill keep her babies so shes not alone anymore.

i love how my rats love other pets.. makes it easy for having them together.

D; Thats aweful. I don't see any abuse here, If bunnies and ratties get along, then let them play. And they look pretty happy to me

yeah hey are happy.. the rats LOVED her.. all walking on her and cleaning her it was so cute.. all took her tiny carrot i gave her.. was so cute.. they even took her hay!!! rats are so silly.. and yes all other people seem to think i should never own animals cuz im so mean to them i guess..

not my fault i can mix animals with out problems.. guess im lucky!

i even took a vid of them with her.. so idk.. people will say what they want as they think they know me and my animals. my cat plays with my chinchilla/.. dogs play with my cats.. no one is dead and no one ever fights.

Oh my gosh, I used to have little doggies that would chase my chins around the room all day, and when ever they cornered them, they'd run off and do it again. No one ever got hurt. xD Id Love to see the video sometime. I love seeing two different types of animals play together

it is soo cute.. my cat is just sitting watching.. she LOVES bunnies.. when i put the bun on the bed with the cat she jumped up and started to clean her.. she has always loved rabbits!!

Awww, that's sweet. ^^ I just have a cat, but she's very sweet too. She's afraid of new people at first, but after she gets to know them she enjoys seeing them.

my one cat was like that for a long time (about 5 years) hes better now and likes MOST people!!
