What program did you use to read the exif data?
Also you could reduce the ISO speed to reduce the noise in the photo, down to like ISO 100 or 200, and just increase the exposure time to 30 seconds... Since it was a 10 second exposure, You must have used a tripod, so that ain't a problem,

The best way I can think of putting it is like this: The longer the toast stays in the oven, the darker it gets. The same is true for cameras, the longer the film (or digital sensor) is exposed to light (shutter open), the brighter things will appear, up the the point where it all turns white.
