Smoke Fire - male Defender of the Hope's Spring Pack who accompanies Mist Runner on his quest to save Dahmietra from her own people.

Smoke Fire is nearly black over most of his body, with reddish colored lower legs, forearms, and tail, and grayish front. Although slender, he has broad shoulders and muscular arms and legs. His eyes are yellow, like flame.

Smoke Fire is normally very quiet and reserved, saying little. When he does speak, he speaks plainly and doesn't mince words. He is an excellent shot with a bow, and can fire more arrows than anyone else in the same amount of time. (Think of Legolas from "The Lord of the Rings".) Smoke Fire is a cousin of Brown Leaf, and he secretly has the hots for Night Song.
