Thats a pretty good question! Where does that bulby head look come from? But I think the more important question is, why are they almost always naked? I mean if I was going to a foreign planet, I´d put a spacesuit on. Or at least I´d have the courtency of wearing some pants...

Well, obviously UFO pilots are the ghosts aliens who are sent from their planet to ours to serve purgatory sentences for their nudist-exhibitionist sins!

Oh, so that's what the Caspar the Ghost illo in F770 was about... Naturally, Mike ran the illos but without any explanation of what they were, so they just seemed like a bunch of fillos. At least he kept the dates.

(Insert "X files" theme here.) Yeah. I saw many similarities of the "Extraterrestrials" in this series of drawings that reminded me of Aliens on Science Fiction book and magazine covers throughout the many years I've been reading in that genre. If I recall correctly, when "Close Encounters of the Third Kind" premiered in the late 1970s, there was a marked increase in UFO sightings. So it's obvious the popular media has had some influence on the modern American culture.
