Bradford City Hall, front entrance.
Had to come in close because you can't get far enough away and still fit the whole building on camera.

I quite like the angle of this actually, it gives more of a sense of perspective. The sky is a bit brightly coloured for the shot but I don't think you can help that, I think it makes the building stand out more. I like the way you've put the central pillar in the middle of the shot too, it's helping to balance the photo more. Yup, like it, nice and simple and a great capture of the essence of the building from the looks of things - I think it looks more imposing at this angle and that works well with the style of the architecture. :3
Cheers, its always good to get decent critique on photos. I actually took 2 laps round the building to find decent angles, although you can get enough distance for overall establishing shots, its a very wide building from several angles so it doesn't work out too well unless you're close in for detail.
I tend to only put a select few photos on FA, you may find my other gallery at http://www.patter.me.uk/snowview/ interesting, it has a much more varied collection.
and you're up early for a weekend too :P
