My male Dante would get out all the time. I have a heat rock in his tank (just for him to hide under, I never plug it in) and every week or two I would find him under a pile of clothes in my room. Finally caught him one day wrapped around and inching up the cord. I keep a brick on that side now, and so far we have not had any more escapes. Little shit lmao
Get a sand boa, and say it looks like a sausage. Lmao I have gotten so many people to buy sand boa's after saying that, because they pause for a second and think about it, and realize that they don't look like most snakes and are much less scary. You can get a sand boa for $30 at reptile expos.
