I have no idea where the inspiration for this came from. I was gonna call it 'The Watcher', but since I've already got a 'The Watcher' in my gallery, as well as a couple of lurking lizards, I figured I'd better come up with a new name.
I'm actually kind of surprized I managed to get his legs to look halfway decent. I haven't any real prior experience with drawing that sort of foreshortened folded leg. It's not perfect, by any stretch, but it seems to work.

...I dunno, the legs don't look bad to me at all. They look a little short compared to, say, what you'd find on a human with a similar body size...but, that's not exactly a flaw, given that it's someting completely different.
I think you did good on it. Even if that thing hanging off his head looks like a bit and bridle to me, instead of the goggles you said it was supposed to be. :P

Ah, yes, I suppose it does kind of look like that. The strap under the goggles is supposed to go under his jaw to help hold them on, since he can't just strap them around his head like humans can, what with how his neck is attached. I was just gonna have him wearing the goggles, but I'd gone and drawn the head and liked the way it looked. But I also liked the idea of goggles, so I was all like, hey, I can just hang 'em from his neck!
So... yeah.
So... yeah.
I can also see how those goggles would look like a brindle as well, but... well, I lean more towards goggles myself. :) I like the, along with the other accouterments that he has... like the wrap around his tail and his outfit in general. He definitely looks like he's on the lookout for something.
