I don't know if much of it is apparent in this image, but I do feel like I improved a lot this year. Most of my sense of accomplishment just comes from how much work I actually got done! I haven't been this productive in several years, if not longer.

Noteworthy things:

Jan - I discovered SAI, and I owe much to it. OpenCanvas is great for what it does, but also limiting. Thanks, SAI.

May - Stop being lazy with backgrounds. Honestly, it doesn't take that long to make something halfway decent. :[

June - Experimenting with art methods, yay!

September - was really rough. :( Most of what I have to show for it was thumbnailing and sketches for the Date with Hana comic.

October - big thing there was the comic, I just chose the cuddle picture to represent that ^^;

December - just started but I'm continuing to move in various directions with more atmospheric lighting, textures, etc where appropriate~

at some point soon maybe I'll dig out some older art and do that old version/new version thing. :V I can't believe 2012 is almost over already, jeez.
