Considering you only played the game recently, and considering that you loved the game, it must be a lot of fun to get to take commissions to draw scenes and characters from Inside Story.
You really do a good job with it, too ^^ Bright colours, obvious attention to details (I don't recall goony birds being a part of Inside Story, but they are certainly a Mario thing), and fun little lighting things. I see you lens flare.

oh yes =) precisely because of my recent inside story fanart is because the commssioner was interested ^0^lucky lucky. Oh and THATS how they were called xD goony birds, i forgot and googled them as "yoshi island seagulls" but yes youre right. I dont remember them myself in the game. But i put them there mainly for the pics composition ^^so it doesnt look too empty. D: And didnt know what else to put there in the sky but the birds =P
I thought so too, but Midbus says he will fight Bowser when he's small again or something along those lines. I'm pretty sure there's no way for Midbus to get big, since that was a function Bowser only had when he was in danger. Midbus would have to learn the secret of why Bowser gets that way and swallow two willing henchmen to activate it inside him. XD
