This is the basic design for Catherine's privateering captain's uniform. Based on some of the designs of the Imperium Commissars from the Warhammer 40K games, I've added my own little twists such as having the chest strings only one side of the officer's shirt. As you can see, Catherine is wearing a badge on the left side of her chest. It is a three star badge (third star is obscured) representing that Catherine is a recognized privateer to the Confederation of Galohan. Because privateers are not part of a government, privateers must have their badges on the left side of their chests while government officials traditionally have their badges on the right side.
