Athena Concept Page part 3
The last concept sketch I did of Athena.
Here, I took away the things I felt made her design clunky, such as the snake skin cloak and slimmed her face and body down further. I also updated her toga to a modern dress with the same Greek feel and added a sash.
I drew the left first, then the right. She took on a more blue jay look with a swan inspired neck. I really liked giving her a small and dark, rather than black, beak.
Satisfied, I have my Athena character.
