Also known as the Winter Guard Deathstar. Why? Well, look at the size of that unit! 15 models that can make themselves harder to hit with their order Bob & Weave, get additional defense from Iron Flesh, and get Tough from Kovnik Joe. Most things in the game has to roll 10+ to hit them normally, and they have a 33% chance to shrug off something that would've normally killed them. Add in the Grapeshot attack they can do while they have the standard, and you're mowing down infantry. One of the most versatile units in the game as it can be a tarpit, infantry clearing, can do some nice damage with Combined Range attacks... although they're not so hot in melee... wait, Joe fixes that problem too to an extent.

Well, that and they look like Soviet soldiers. This was one of the selling points of starting the faction to begin with! I didn't even know how ridiculous they could be at first. Basic infantry that's actually... remotely useful in a game!? What a concept!
