Here's an early sketch of a commission in the works from awesome furry artist  DAQ, featuring my characters dressed up as the characters from the film Sucker Punch.

One thing I love to do (and by extension, Jessie) is go to midnight movie premieres. While I worked in a movie theater, I didn't go to as many of these as I once did since I got to see the movies before a night or two earlier. Someone had to sit in and make sure the prints we built ran smoothly. ;)

I also used to cosplay and go to conventions dressed up as my favorite characters, including some movie premieres. The last really good one for this was the last Star Wars film, Revenge of the Sith. THAT was a lot of fun. By extension this also applies to Jessie who gets himself so excited for some movies that he just has to dress up for the occasion. Aside from the recent Avengers movie, the last movie Jessie did this for was Sucker Punch. Usually Jessie will talk his sister Aria into going with him as well as any current lover he has. For a time it was Lupe until they broke up, but Lupe continues to join Jessie for these premieres now that he's dating his ex's sister. Awkward, right? =P
At the time Jessie was in a friendship/dating relationship with Jenet, who was more than happy to start joining Jessie to movie premieres. While Lana isn't much into movies, Jenet is her only real friend, so she's happy to join her whenever Jenet invites her.
So, once Jessie realized there was going to be a group going to the premiere of Sucker Punch he got it in his head to have everyone dress up as the heroes of the film. It took some doing, but with Aria and Jenet's help, Jessie put together costumes for everyone to wear. Jessie took the initiative and made himself a Baby Doll costume, while Aria agreed to go as Blondie. Jenet decided she wanted to go as Sweet Pea and decided for Lana to go as Rocket. That left the role of Amber to be filled and Lupe left without a costume, putting him in the role by default. Lupe wasn't happy about it wanted to be Wiseman instead, since it was a male character. Jessie insisted that he go as Amber since no one else but the five of them were going and filling the main five roles was more important. A combination of puppy-dog eyes and a guilt trip from Aria convinced Lupe to go as Amber, much to his reluctance.

So, on the night of the premiere the three arrived that evening to get in line for the movie, all the while talking about the movie, their costumes, and taking pictures from and with fellow movie goers. They five got a lot of praise, especially Lupe for being brave enough to dress as a female. Jessie got even more praise for wearing such a girly costume when folks realized he was a male too. However, things would get awkward when they found out he dressed that way normally. XD

Just a brief comment on what everyone is doing:
-Jessie is admiring one of the movie posters being displayed and wondering if he might be able to get one from the theater
-Aria is loving seeing her boyfriend, Lupe, having to dress up as a female in public
-Jenet is completely swooning over Jessie and how cute/sexy he looks in his costume
-Lana is also admiring Jessie and his costume and thinking kinky thoughts about how she tie him up after the movie and tease and torment him
-Lupe is very clearly embarrassed to have to walk around in public dressed as a female character
