Yepp... that's me! I had to do a new drawing, the other portrait is already 6 years old!
I admit, the thumbnail is kinda scary... but the larger version really looks fine. The scanner "ate" some of the fine gradients and shades of grey... but it looks alright.
Media Used:
4B pencil, 2B pencil, rubber, A3 paper sheet (30x40cm)
Working Time:
4 hours
Drawing by Patrick Reichel aka
reptilecynrik
NOTE:
The "download" view is much better than the "full view"!!!

Hehe... I admit, this is some "skill show off", indeed! XD
AND I would also point out: I am grateful for any +fav here... but people don't have to fave this. I mean, WHO seriously wants to have my face in his/her gallery? XD
It's okay to comment.
After all, I just wanted to show my latest drawing AND how I look like! ^^

Gosh, it's hard to believe that 6 years have already come and gone. This portrait is absolutely fantastic. I love the shading and how it truly gives the feel of 3D, especially the eye brows. They really stand out and make the piece pop. The only thing is that your pupils look dilated as though you've consumed far too much caffeine or something and you're spacing out. (Perhaps the lighting used to take the picture for reference was dark. I don't know xD)
Beautiful work, Patrick. The only thing more stunning than the piece itself is how quickly you were able to muscle through it! 4 hours?! Wow! :D

Thanksssssssssssssss very much!! ^^
I also like how the hair and brows came out. AND the glasses, hrhrhrhr.
And you are right about the pupils... this has two reasons:
1) The glasses change my eyes and
2) it was rather dark in the room... that's why the pupils are that large. ^^"
Creepy, yeah.
4 hours, yes.

It is painful to make eye contact with your drawing! That may sound like a criticism but it is actually a very real complement due to how real it looks! Making eye contact is very disturbing to me and your picture is so realistic I experience the same effect as if I was looking at a real person. Great Job!
Now to take my insanity to someone else's page.

Yes, buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut it's not really GONE yet!!!! ^_____________^
It goes to the top and I still got a LOT of hair at the back of my head. Really.
BUT if the top of the head would "meet" the back of my head... yes, that would be horrible and I would shave it all!! XD

Fortunately, I never rely on my EYES first, when meeting a person. ^_^ Very important is the voice... the language/expression and the character (which I'd get to know later then). ^_______^
Most people... are attracted to my smile first... maybe, I can get valuable "points" with the smile (or butt) before they look at the hair! XD

MAby, but remember those are the other people who look at you, unless you carry a mirror infront of you for all the time :D Personally i guess i wouldn't be able to stop myself from laughing each time i look at you in such state :D
Hun, if nature/god or whatever wanted us to look at male butt first it would palce it your face, which by the way happens to alot of guys lately and it's attractivness is pretty doubtfull, women on the other hand have butts on their chests :)
