For a short time Im putting up some music from my old metal band Machine God.
If you like your guitars then your in for a treat ^^
In this band I played bass guitar and sang backing vocals which was a blast.
For those with a keen ear youl notice the drums are actually programmed for these EP tracks due to money and time limitations but I can assure you that each member was more then capable of playing there parts as fans who have seen us live will testify.
The music was considered descent enough to be show to the legendary Andy Sneep but alas we never made it big. Its particularly difficult in the world of rock and metal to succeed as the standards are rightfully very high.
The majority of the music itself was written by my lead guitarist, Martin Goodwin, with parts added by me and my lead singer.
Kick starting things with this track titled "Before My Eyes" to warm you in.

Yeah, that's true. But even playing for the joy of making music can be worth the trouble. I've contemplated being a lead singer if I ever could find a band to be a part of, which also would depend on overcoming stage fright. It's always seemed like it'd be pretty fun to be in a band like that, sort of like being on a sports team. The whole family feeling of being in a group of people who look out for each other.
Good lead singers are one of the hardest members to come by and a lot of people just make do with having one of the guitarists do it (myself included) so If you have a great voice you will get lapped up in no time.
Bands are exactly like a family in that you get all the ups of getting to know your members incredibly well and the downs of arguing over the smallest things.
As for stage fight... Its always scary as hell the first time to play live. If you get to desensitised to the adrenalin rush of playing a gig though you will loose out on some of the fun that comes with being a little nervous. Only your personality will decide how you deal with it.

Its a very clean produced song too so that's really amazing, I actually didn't even notice the drums were programmed, it was very well produced to tell.
so i'm curious, what has happened to the band since this release? Are you guys still together, if not, do you plan to get back into music or regrouping?
