These are yellow split lentils, also known as Dal in India. They were very yummy, just a tad salty. Lentils have a great source of iron and can help your immune system fight off certain illnesses.
Interesting. Well, I was planning to make red lentils for dinner in a few days since i have them. I was going to make a soup. I do know about lentils, I did a report on them. heheheh
