Bloodbending. I heard about something similar in my long. Two vampire clans called Tzimisce and Tremere. The first one uses Vicissitude a.k.a. Fleshcrafting, and the latter one uses Thaumaturgy a.k.a. Blood magic. Fate however parts your universe with theirs, therefore a battle between with those and this character is almost impossible, but it would be an interesting battle to behold...
...unless you know a way to move between universes. Until, then. Nice idea. But be on the lookout for the Avatar! He/She likes to cheat, and aims to learn all kinds of "bendings"...
