...Yebut slithered though the hedge maze, enjoying the warm sun on his backside. Birds fluttered overhead, one or two occasionally getting a whiff of the crux-naga's stink. Yebut would hear occasional crunching sounds behind him shortly after.
Speaking of birds, Yebut saw a particularly big one in his garden  apollojay89 was hopping around, fluttering along the grass and hedges in a fluster. "Where are they..." he was muttering to himself. "Where's what?" Yebut asked as he approached. The big blue-jay didn't turn to look at him as he replied "My glasses. I dropped them as I was flying by."
Yebut nodded and looked around a bit, before "Ah!"ing as he spotted the glint of metal and glass. He slithered up beside the bird's feet and plucked the spectacles up from the glass. "Here ya go!" he smiled as he placed the glasses on the bird's beak. He was speechless. And motionless. Yebut giggled and adjusted the glasses a bit as he crawled along the floor and used the new statue's wings as a nice shaded spot for a nap...
