Here is the latest creation from my forge. Shiney tree ornaments for Midwinter's.
I am really please with the way this initial set turned out. These actually turned out to be rather challenging to make. As I discovered on the first one I made (red second, from left) the glass baubles melt well below the normal working temperature for the iron. As a result the final basket twist and metal finish must be done quickly in shot because it cannot be reheated.
I sold two at my shop this weekend so I will be needing to make more! :9
