And to counter Caedis from last week, here we have one of the good guys!
Stein!
Stein is a wild boar, and it's a shame we don't have anyone for him to stand next to here- because he's just a few hairs shy of 8 feet tall (but nobody calls him on it. Would you?) Stein is a towering boar, more broad than a refrigerator- and not at all the mutton-head one would expect from someone so massive and muscled.
He is strong, yes. Terribly strong. Stein also has a penchant for philosophy and some other surprising fields. We won't be telling too terribly much about him as a lot of the interesting stuff will come up in the comic.
Part of the initial Espaetjan squad we'll see in the comic's prologue, Stein is akin to their Heavy. This is his field uniform, different from his more formal dress uniform that for Espaetjans centers around a long coat (actually, all 3 countries in the comic use a long duster since they're on floating continents and the winds can be fierce.)
Stein is the Master at Arms of the team for obvious reasons, and he is also tasked with breaching unopened areas in their Relic hunting. His hammer is actually for this task and not truly a weapon. The pointy bits aren't for stabby stabs- it's like a crowbar crossed with a sledgehammer and Stein would be remiss to dull it up by using it for smashing people.

It's a thing I've been talking about for a while- though I guess people largely skip over my artist comments below those pieces... Ahh, to sum the webcomic (looking at a weekly schedule right now) up as succinctly as I can:
Floating continents
Airships
Evil religious zealots
Ancient Relics
There's a bajillion more things to it, and I've drawn influences from a lot of games and stuff I like, philosophy, and all sorts of odds an ends.
I plan on launching the comic on 12-12-12. So, we're a week away- holy shit when I actually say that I feel so behind, haha.
Stein is a lovable slab of boar! <3 My super evil guys are often wearing helmets, but the species are varied, though they are genocidal against particular species. So... there ARE things they WON'T be, haha.
