Lisa, I keep telling you again and again about how talented you are and how you never fail to surprise me in so many ways. This is yet another one of those times you have made me feel surprised by what you have done for this is quite the amazing pic from you, it really is!

For saying you are experimenting I would say this one was a success for you can see the attention to detail, the fact the fur looks so fluffy and huggable (I need no excuse to hug your ladies anyway) and the fact it looks so sleek and gorgeous. I look forward to seeing what you can come up with should you keep doing things like this, I look forward to seeing what comes in the future from you

The way the angles, the speed of the strokes and the color contrast all directs the eye to that single spot of focus - which is dynamically off center! - is way cool :D

yep its all one layer! i used the marker tool in SAI when i was trying to experiment with using different tools. I'm not very sure how long it took.. maybe a half an hour, 45 min (not very long at all, much faster than i had expected).
id love to try to do more.. perhaps i'll find some guinea pigs ;)
