Yeah. He can be a hardass, and some of that is likely exaggerated fro TV, but he's really a good and caring guy; even if he's got to tear you to get you to see just how wrong you might be, or so you'll be more prepared to work in a good restaurant where mistakes would be more costly.
There is salt on the tables, be glad you weren't sprinkling salt and had the top of the container come off. That happened twice when i worked fast food. GR was funny on some episodes though. He should be the next Avenger, a persona like that could make even the worst alien/demon cry.
