Tell me if you've heard this one before. Kid grows up and kind of loses touch with all his friends. He still thinks about them constantly but never seems to really reconnect with them.

This is for an old friend that I have known for 9 years.  kiddykat is such an adorable sweetheart that I never really take the time to tell her "Hey, thanks for being my friend." Back in 2004, for my birthday she drew me a little picture.

I still adore it to this day. You see, however, I am the kind of person always so busy with life that even though I see all these pictures my friends draw I rarely comment on them. It doesn't mean I'm not lingering to this day, watching and adoring them from the sidelines.

So, just consider this a really late gift, or an early Christmas present. Whichever. Just because I'm so quiet doesn't mean I don't still really care for my friends, and it means a lot when friends say hi. It can mean the world, you know?

Anyway, as far as the picture is concerned, I'll probably add a background later. When I try to draw high-res and carefully like this it can take far too long unfortunately.
