Personal: Aer the Wind Wolf Partial Fursuit
Finished up all the little bits for the partial last night of my alter-sona Aer.
Overall I am pleased with the first attempt, though it has some problems I know better how to avoid in the future. It was lots of fun, though very tedious, and more challenging than I expected.
Notes:
- All the sewing was done by hand, as I am mostly unfamiliar with a sewing machine still.
- I have all the parts for the full suit, I plan on starting it up after the busy holidays.
- I don't know when I will get to go to a con to show her off though. As I don't think I will be attending AC. Possibly FAU next year, maybe MFF, and FWA.
- She is the mate to my sweetheart Tanek's alter-sona Nony the fire elemental. Expect some art and pics of us later down the road.
- Iggi may be worked on down the road, but I will want to do several suits before her, as I want her's just right when I do.
- I do not currently have plans to accept fursuit commissions, as I want to get more practice on personal projects before I consider it. Probably at least 4-6 partials before I will feel I learned enough to make a quality product that doesn't fall apart. (I don't want to be known for crap suits if I do decide to take this more seriously)
- I plan to make Pyre ( feather dragon), Aezen (raccoon dragon), Iggeist, Tanek (wolfsune, maybe), Jack Hunter (panda snake), and Iggi Nargacuga (maybe, i also need a name!) all before I make Iggi my fursona or take on commissions.
- I may make partials for sale on furbuy if it isn't those characters, but please don't ask about commissions just yet.
-Polite critiques, tips, and such would be greatly appreciated so I can learn for my next suit. Just ya know, say what you like and you don't like so I know you aren't just being a troll. :p
- This suit itself is not for sale.
- Also, her paws and stuff glow in a blacklight. I got some UV glowing stuff.
-OMG the mane is so puffy in this pic, mostly due to my hood and overall lack of neck.

I'm very impressed! I didn't know you were good at SO MANY different mediums and styles of art!
Especially from the side, it really looks like your style come to life. The markings are very beautiful and overall design is great. I'd love to see what eyes you made yourself would look like since one of my favorite things is seeing other fursuit maker's eye styles, but the ones you chose here suit the character perfectly. I hope to see more suits from you in the future!! :)

More tutorials for canines as well as components. Iggi's unusual features would require molds and such, and I don't currently have the money or know how to make them. So I wanted to see if I would even enjoy making a suit before I put so much into it. As well as my mate Tanek has a suit for only his alter-sona as well, and she is paired to him.
