This is our newest song; it's a very rough take recorded and mixed in a single afternoon (with mistakes) and no vocals or even lyrics yet written. This gives an indication of where we plan to go musically. Featured here are my best friends Jimmy on drums, and Dave on guitars. Yours truly is playing bass here, and we all had a hand in writing and arranging this one. A complete group effort! Note: This version is not the original mix, but one created after we toyed around with effects for a bit. For the original version, see my scraps section.

A much larger improvement. The last song I'll admit, was rather boring and to simple for my taste. Great job. I would however add a little more melodies in there on some areas to spice it up. Perhaps a counter-melody with whats already going. :P It'll make it much more interesting. I realize most melodic lines are kept to vocalists usually, but guitarists can do the same.
Yeah, we're just a trio at the moment, so any layering would need to be achieved in overdubs until we add a second guitar player. As for the vocal melodies, they're basically my responsibility, but I haven't dedicated myself to them until we make the arrangement airtight.
