at first i was going to pop off a trademark flippant joke about an escalator or elevator but the poem and the picture stirred something
this happend instead
"in the darkness it becomes deep, finaly a warm place encourageing you to stay whispering promises urging you deeper still
but a hand, a voice, reaches out and grabs hold, gives you true hope and light showing you truth
the darkness fights back twineing bits of itself into a spirt leaving those there to always remind you how close you have been

this happend instead

I'm not going to get to see you though, that's one of the things i feel worst about. :-/ All my money is gone and there's no possible way i can get to FC...

You know there's someone that will always be by your side.

No, you can't always get what you want...
What you want is in the here... in the instantaneous moment that sparks from desire and cravings. Its bright, shiney, flashy, glittery and sparkly, tempting, sweet smelling, and just dangling painfully beyond the farthest distance that you can outstretch your fingertips.
Every now and then... you'll be lucky enough to actually grasp it when the wind is right... but as soon as you have it, the glitter rubs off in your hands, and all too quickly, it loses its luster and becomes just another possession... and you find it wasn't really what you wanted in the first place.
... but...
... if you look behind and around you... there are quieter things hidden in the shadows that aren't as bright... aren't as shiney, aren't as glisteningly tempting... but are there for the reaching... the holding, the tender consoling, and the warming of the spirit.
They don't shed their sparkle when you hold them... they don't sour when you drink of them... and they don't torment you with attainability.
They cradle you if you let them... and they give you the strength to still have hope for all the things you love and actually do need in your life.
You can't always get what you want.
... but if you try sometimes, you find you can get what you need.

Depression is a terrible thing, something I live with a lot ( living alone certainly doesn't help. ) but there's always more good than bad. Just relax, don't let things get to you, and be free and happy!
