Might be a bit early to do this, seeing as December just began, but it's my first time making one of these and I was mostly out of practice most of the year.
Lately a lot of websites I sign up for have Loki.Metal taken. It's odd, as I have had the username for over 8 years now, but I suppose it's not that unusual. So I started using SugarNeigh on some websites and Sprinkles on others. There aren't links to all of these on FA or even DA or Tumblr. But I'm going to talk about them for a bit.
January - I was just getting into some kind of shading that was less "burn-doge" and more... painty? It's really not very painterly at all, none of my art really is. However I also really wanted to draw something for Shorzie because he's awesome.
February - This design for a demon was part of a contest. I haven't done much with him personally, but Aapur is/will. His joke name is Fluffles. I don't have much to show for this month.
March - This was a trade/request with Fleabeast of his Crux posing in girly clothing. I was experimenting with lighting, and I don't think it came out all that bad. I still like to think I improved from that.
April, May, June - I'm sad there is nothing here. There probably is. But I'm too lazy to dig it up out of the depths of Tumblr. ;_;
July - My friend Weasel-Problems's character, Maru. Doing slightly better with shading, however not quite so great yet.
August - This picture was rushed anyway.
September - See April, May, June.
October - That there is Trickster!Loki. Me. Well my internet persona. Sorta. I portray myself as a monster. I guess. Flat colors. Nothing special. Woah human.
November - Weasel-Problem's other character, Pax, posing pretty, ready to be turned into a con badge that I sadly missed the deadline on. ;_; However I would like to point out the improvement in shading, line quality and overall anatomy. I started flipping my drawings while working on them to catch mistakes.
December - Kind of a trick here. This is actually a WIP closeup. However the part I'm showing is 100% finished. My lighting source is more solid, the shadows have more variation to the value of the overall drawing. Still no decent background yet.
