(this is taken from a camera, so the quality is quite crappy. i'm going to take another one sometime later, whenever that is.)
mmm this took quite a while.
First i colored the doll with pastels.
Then i colored the background with pastels, spraying fixative for a new layer about three times.
Finally, i colored over the pastel background with some watercolors.

Lovely as always, V. I adore your colouring work and the texture, it looks as though the doll is hanging in front of your screen. Fabulous!
