I was a fan and a friend of Corgeh's years ago, it was pretty depressing when she just kinda busy'd herself into oblivion. I'm hopeful that some day she'll be back to share her art and her charm with us again, but such is the way of the world sometimes...

Then I will put I like this. This is Furaffinity. Name a well known character who's relatable, sympathetic and that the audience can identify with who is just a genuinely good person. This place is saturated with anti heroes, sadistic macros, outright sociopaths, shall I go on?

Your character is just another cheap dime store hood. Nothing new is brought to the table. In fact, the over abundance of his type cheapens the character type. Hard economics: the more of a specific type of product (villains with sadistic behaviors) is on the market, the lesser in value the product becomes. If a character type is rare, they're worth more because they go against the grain.

And you might be tempted to say "come on, this is a fetish site and not representative of modern culture". But darker works, antiheros and bittersweet endings now saturate modern pop culture even now. The Hunger Games. The Man of Steel KILLED someone in his movie. The huge interest in antihero types as reflected in recent modern video games, etc, etc.

Point is...Vox is just another jerk like the literal THOUSANDS of others in this site.

...And? I didn't make Vox to please an audience or make some groundbreaking deep, complex character. This is a vore fetish. He is what I wanted as a character. So there's thousands of others with a similar personality? Okay. Fine by me.

Most of my work is done to invert expectations. I enjoy writing satire or irony, turning expected outcomes on their heads. Sometimes more obvious than others. And other work I do is done to try and show characters develop from experiences that would bring out the worst in them under normal fetish circumstances. Mostly, none of my main characters are jackasses. Or if they're close to being one, they change over the story or are punished FOR being a jackass.

And it would be one thing if this was just a minor character in your work that I shouldn't pay much attention to...but this guy is supposed to represent YOU. He's on your avatar, for Pete's sake. This is the person that best represents you on this site. In contrast, mine is a former human that's cursed with a demonic form but who, deep down, is still human. So...yeah. People are free to like whatever they want. But you of all people shouldn't play the "who are you to look down on me" card when most of my plethora of characters and stories ARE moral; and yours aren't. A guy who made a picture of his character eating kittens in a "ha ha, stupid kittens" way doesn't get to claim the moral high ground.

x] You can justify it or try and artsy it up however you like, you are still writing Soul Calibur cockvore fanfiction. In fact, I looked and most of your gallery is just that, fanfiction. But, seeing as you are obviously the expert on how to write stories, what characters are worthwhile and what makes true literature and what doesn't, you certainly shouldn't bother with an obviously lacking, 'morally lesser' person such as myself.
