Breaking the monotony of all the transformation content I post. I figured I'd share this since a few people here stayed and watch with interest as i worked feverishly on her in a flash of inspiration, which I really appreciated.
This is one of my characters and she's very dear to me. Her name is Hyavwe and she's got a story I won't go into in the comment box. Ask if you want, but there's quite a bit to go over. She's like a final boss of a story I have going. One thing to note is that she doesn't have a bird's face, it's actually a mask. She's a being of shadow and deception, so she loves to form it over her face.
"In my domain I am everything. I am mistress and lady, I am your goddess. I am neither light or the absence of it, I am everything. Yes. Everything you fear. You cannot flee, so come."

Beautiful, eh? Thanks so much for thinking so.
Ah, you picked up on that. She's definitely the type to amuse herself at the expense of others. The only thing is that she's actually a very bitter and angry being now. She's in fact very malevolent.
Although, I have imagined her in the future performing some redeeming acts due to some significant events.

She originates from the ancient history of story's setting. She used to be a human black mage with an affinity for spirits, but mostly the kind that people deemed evil and maligned. She didn't fear or condemn them, she took pity on them. She cared about the suffering they endure and the raw emotion they carry without so much as a pray uttered for them. This made those around her wary, even some of her fellow black mages weren't very comfortable around her.
One day a disaster broke loose where those spirits were set loose on en mass by a group of people wanting to eliminate the presence of dragons (which in that world are sentient and have human forms) out of fear. The worst and most powerful of them broke free possessing dragons and people alike. The ensuing chaos lead to widespread destruction in a major city where a massive tower stands. The tower was a place where humans and dragons (regardless or form or size) would converge, share, just plain live together. It was a pinnacle of social, educational and philosophical exchange and pursuit. She was there in the worst of it occurred. The ensuing destruction lead her to being trapped. She remained sealed and she hoped that others would come to find her, but nobody would dare near such an epicenter of great danger, for the spirits were free and the possessed (dangerous and sometimes transformed) roamed with impunity. The disaster spread no further than the city she lived in, but she stayed there trapped with the "demons" being her only companions. Soon after she died and her essence joined them.
But, something happened. She didn't feel the good will, the prayers of the righteous. She felt the same abandonment that the very souls she took pity on did. She grew angry, resentful and she harnessed something, her gifts in life and the will she never lost, and gained a new form and existence. She evolved into a new entity entirely and a very powerful on at that. Knowing little to nothing of the outside, she remains in her tower undisturbed with the frightful demons and spirits. Until well over a millennium, a group of explorers finally make their way into the great tower that still stands. Stirred by life she hasn't felt in so long, she makes her first connection with the outside and her ambition sparks.
Now, she aims to take the world for the damned and lost so they could finally have a place, and a walled city some miles away holds the key to her, and the demons', ultimate freedom.
That's without getting into too much.

Seriously, just do it. If there is one thing I learned by writing TF fan fiction is simply do it, good or bad you will start to see flaws in your writing and you'll start to get good at covering them and seriously, this plot is interesting by itself already, at least from what you wrote here, if you manage to portray the characters that well then it is already a good story.
