It's been a while since I did any of my own art, so the perfect opportunity came along in my art appreciation class for our final project.

The project was to make an artwork from a particular movement and also elements from a specific artist of said period. I chose to do this acrylic painting from a pic I took with a friend during Elliot's Fall Gathering that came to pass (also has some reflections about that weekend) based around the Fauvism art movement and inspired by a few paintings by Henri Matisse.

All in all, it took only an hour or so for three days. This is really my first time doing anything like this and working with acrylic, and I have learned a bit. Hope you guys like it.
