A ref sheet commission from the amazing  Rozenbane

This is Shi. Shi is my baby (not to be confused with my fursona jaguar, Shii). He was the very first OC I ever created and there will always be a special place in my heart for him. Shi has two identities, his human self (this one) and a demon one, each with a different back story.

Shi grew up with the perfect family. Loving parents, a cute little brother. But his world crashed around him when he met his grandfather, who had been estranged from his mother after his mother ran away from home when she became pregnant (after her father had forced her to look after her schizophrenic older brother, even after he tried to kill her). His grandfather forced him to choose between raping himself or his little brother. Shi chose the former and kept quiet about the frequent rapes for almost two years before his mother found out about it.

After getting a restraining order on her father, Shi's mother, father, and little brother were killed in a car crash resulting from a slashed break line. Shi went to live with his grandfather, but brutally killed him when he was twelve. Consumed by rage, Shi became a vigilante, murdering any man he found trying to prey on children or women before becoming a member of a militant group, and then turning to prostitution.

Shi has a complicated personality. He is filled with rage and guilt over the death of his family, especially his brother, as well as a huge complex to protect the people he loves. He is also very emotionally vulnerable and never got over the pain of his first break up with his childhood best friend, but loves sex and companionship. He has a great talent for fire arms and combat, with training he acquired from the militant group.

Shi is a switch. He has a very dominant personality on the surface, but likes to bottom with the right partners. He has a strong crush on Amaaya, but respects their friendship.
