The results from the field test of the handclaws were mixed. While they were aestetically pleasing they suffered a minor design flaw in that they were prone to sliding off my fingers even when secured with duct tape around the base.
This was due to the non-adhesive nature of the morph suit I was wearing benieth them. Now the hands needed the morph suit undernieth to prevent sweatlogging as the claws did not breathe and tended to get very uncomfortable when worn with bare hands.
Future alterations made to these claws would include preplacing their base coupling with velcro patches that attach to more velcro that is sewn into designated spots on the morph suit hands. this should allow ease of attachment and removal as well as a strong hold.
I am also keen on painting over the shiny black with a matte texture to make them blend better with the rest of the fursuit.
