Just a mock up design that popped to mind while playing my Gameboy Micro.
This is fake and although I wish the faceplate did exist it does not.
Big thanks to Zoey Anelyn for the art used in this.

Looks cool.
My question is: why not make one?
True, it would take an existing faceplate but it shouldn't be too hard to make.
1) Take an existing faceplate
2) Get some high quality sticker paper
3) Print one one or more stickers
3a) One sticker for the whole skin scaled properly
3b) Multiple stickers for the specific parts you want (cheaper on ink)
4) Apply sticker(s)
5) Laminate, probably using packing tape or an adhesive laminate sheet
6) Cut necessary holes
7) Attach new faceplate
I had considered doing something like this myself when the Micros first came out but I wound up getting the Famicom edition so I don't want to mess with its faceplate.
