So, here comes the early christmas gift from the self-appointed members of the 
alectorfencer fanclub! :)
"A Winter's Repose" is written to the amazingly talented Alectorfencer, and features her Plant Spirit wolf (or "Tree Spirit" in the song, since that fit better with the poetry).
The lyrics are done by the closet poet

This is the first time I have ever written a melody with a song, and the first time Swandog has had any melody written for her poems. It's far from the first time Dreamsong has sung a song, so she is the experienced party here. :)

I am so proud of you and Dream for making this! I can't remember there was a song that touched my soul so deeply and made my wolf spirit feel like home... I felt almost nostalgic while listening to it, like I've been to that place where it takes you, like I've been there before... Thank you so much for this, thank you!
My comment is so late because it took me so long for my feet to touch the ground again after my mind soared and left me speechless.
I got carried away a bit when listening to Swandog's wonderful poem come to life with dreamsong's wonderful singing and your music composition surrounding this, making me remember childhood dreams and plans that I always wanted to come true.
I'm in deep awe of this amazing surprise, of the amazing collaborative come together of so wonderful artists to create this wonderful gift. You can't imagine how happy and deeply touched I feel of this astounding and deep music piece.
We all have to overcome obsticals and foes in our lives. The paths we have to go are often covered with seemingly endless sharp rocks and inclines. Yet even when we feel barren and weak there is a glimpse for us to hold tight on and which makes us continue our journey until we broke the barrier which tries to hold tight and make us freeze, and to step on grassy and lively fields of hope. <3
Thank you so much for this wonderful music, for this beautiful project, for the wonderful surprise of creating this dreamy story. <3<3<3

*sque* I am really really glad you liked it. I was very nervous making anything after Wind Soul, since I was afraid I was not going to be able to write something as good as that again. So, I am very happy I managed to write something that you liked *OvO* It was a little scary, not having done anything with vocals in at all, but Dreamsong has done this before a few times, so her skills made it a lot easier.

My father, who is a new age musician, was in town hanging out with me when I first played this. Our conversation stopped and when the song ended he said, "hauntingly beautiful. Send that to me."
