Finally, the finished commission for the oh-so-nice
khaosdog. She's way better than me in both traditional and digital, but thinking that she commissioned me because she actually likes my art is a nice thought. XD
She wanted her khaosdog characters all grinning, that's why I called it chesire dogs (like chesire cat, got it?). I really had trouble coloring it, the two black ones nearly ate my whole black Prisma. Spike was much easier to color. Oh something funny. While sketching it I took Spike as a anatomical reference for Spike. XD I'm so smart. (On a side note: Spike is my dog, she has the same name like the Khaosdog Spike, and even funnier, both are female.)
It's a bit larger than A3 I think. Done on Bristol paper, inked with Micron pens, colored with Prismacolor and Polychromos colored pencils. Drew a slightly green background to add more contrest to all the black and white dogs.
Although I still cannot really draw with colored pencils I like it and am a bit proud of it. ^^
