The year is rapidly ending.
I've had an amazingly transformative journey over the last several months. I can honestly say that I am not the wolf I was at this time last year. Last year's wolf was quiet and introspective, content to let life happen to him rather than the other way around.
I made efforts to acquire and enhance my skills. I took the initiative to poke my muzzle out into the world beyond my den and see what life has to offer. A great deal many of you critters have entered my life, both as creative muses and as teachers.
Rewiring my brain around creation rather than passive decay. Allowing my soul to romp and play. Feeling life rather than sheltering myself from it.
And it feels good. Very good, indeed.
So, why the 'Journey' art?
Recently I had the chance, rather... the privilege to experience this wonderful game. I didn't expect how often my thoughts would turn back to what spirituality lies behind the concept. We set out on life not really having instructions placed in our paws. Instead, we have guidance, encouragement, feedback and yes, criticism to go forward. Reaching for a goal that seems distant and amorphously terminal.
But it doesn't really end.
Just like this year's end means the start of another.
I hope you can join me.

Aw, thanks! As amazing as 2012 was, I hope to make 2013 even better!
I've already started on creating some really fun scenic backgrounds in my sketchbooks :3 Hopefully, I'll be integrating more architecture into my works this year, too.
I mean, wolves and exposed structural steel somehow go together, don't they? *grin*
