So my folks closed on their house, but there were a few complications, namely that they would have to move into a temporary place because the person they bought the house from couldn't move into their new house because the owner decided to be a dick and wouldn't let them move into the house early even though the house was uninhabited. So they were going to homeless for a bit, but a friend let them stay in their condo while they waited to move in. Anyway, this is Tasha being a lazy girl and showing everyone how much she loves her blanky.

aw...see thats how they end up getting dumped in shelters down here. Cant tell you how many dogs come into rescue that i've seen, their story has been oh this couple or person gets a husky because they're cool dogs, then can't handle them or doesn't want them or their shedding anymore so they dump them in a shelter, and then they get put on death row, because theyre not puppies by the time they get to the shelter :/ I think we have one dog in rescue out of the nine or ten that wasn't on death row...he was an owner surrender from a couple in their 70s unable to keep up with a husky pup of 11 months...so sad.
I do have a GSD/Husky mix here best dog I owned, she is very sweet and loving though as she is now 13 years old I won't have her for much longer. She has the coloration of a GSD but the build and mannerisms of a husky, her adoption papers from the shelter we rescued her from even said husky though the vet we take the family dog to keeps wanting to call her a GSD.
aw! we just adopted out a husky/shepherd mix...oh my god she was beautiful. This is her : http://www.furaffinity.net/view/8777891/ she landed a new home with a couple that owned a 60 foot yacht and now has her own suite onboard x3 We have one other husky/shepherd mix in rescue also.
