Gotta say, I don't really like rippers, although I do like how wicked they look and I understand they are crucial (fluff wise) to the swarms. I just don't get much done with them in a game.

It's all about knowing how to use what you have. Best I get from rippers are bullet magnets, but I am a growing fan of hive guard and hope to get some of those soon. As far as the new codex goes, no idea, really prefer to get an update on new models, like Doom of Malan 'Tai or a simple Harpy. Not really sure how to find all that out.
