Give this a go, appealing apple cider from the kitchens of

This How To make about 8 cups of Soft Apple Cider; filling about 2 good mugs.
Now you can use any type of apple or even a mix of types but I only had Golden Delicious =D
WHAT YOU NEED:
5 apples.
1 pot(medium) that can hold your apples and water to boil them in.
1 strainer.
1 holed spoon.
1 masher; like one you'ed use for potatoes.
1 large plastic bowel to catch your cider.
1 knife.
Sugar and Cinnamon
LETS GET STARTED!
Wash your apples; fill your pot with hot water and place your apples in there whole,or copped in half. Dont core them; if they have a stem, then you can throw that par away but when making cider you use the whole apple.
Set your pot of apples on the stove and turn them on high; letting them boil. Let them boil; and you can tell when they are ready; take a knife and poke at one of the apples. If the blade goes through with ease then they are ready.
Take them off the eye but keep them in the pot. Take the masher and go to work on them. Yes leave the water you have in there while mashing. BE CAREFUL NOT TO BURN YOURSELF!
Once in a mash; (like the picture in the bottom right corner) add sugar and cinnamon; I go by taste; adding a bit at a time until its to my liking. Stir your pot to make sure all the sweetness spreads throughout your mash.
Once its to your liking; take your large plastic bowel and set in a sink with the strainer on top of it. Make sure its sturdy. Then take your pot of mash of apples and pour it into the strainer. The liquid will drain down to the plastic bowel.
Take the holed spoon and begin to press into the strainer onto of the apples to get their juice.
To get more out of your apples; put the mash back into the pot and fill with hot water and let it boil again. (I did this about 3 times) and strain them again. Adding more sugar and cinnamon to your liking because your adding more cider into your plastic bowel after every straining period.
Again I re boil the mash 3 times before I was up to 8 cups in my cider bowel (bottom left picture)
Some people strain their cider bowel once more to make sure no apple bits are in their drink; but I love it! =D
Now your ready to drink it or store it!!
The apple mash; if not too used from your straining and pressing into cider. You can save it for apple sauce or you can toss it out for the deer; or your equine friend as a treat!
If you use this ; let me know how it turned out for you!
