I made sea Salt ice cream once and it was acutally pretty good <33 colored it blue too x3

I saw some recipes online but it looks really hard to do. D:

omg it was tiresome but i will tell you this the end results were worth the work >> of course making home made ice cream alone is hard work

I had some sea salt ice cream in Japan, and I was able to replicate the taste this way:

1 99c ice cream sundae (no toppings) from McDonald's
1 McDonald's standard size salt packet
Mix
???

Oh! LOL Well, it's accurate to the stuff I had in Japan, which was white and in a bowl. xD

...Although I am allergic to blue dye, so...by default, I prefer Japan's version. xD

Oh no, I meant the ingredients. XD Not exactly sea salt (and, knowing McDonalds, not exactly ice cream. But I'm actually lactose intolerant so that's a-okay.) But then maybe you can tell me if it was a fancy ice cream or a simple ice cream in Japan? Or maybe just depends on where you go, haha.

I had it in Tokyo Disney Sea, and then since I liked it, I sought it out in grocery stores and bought some from there, too. Neither of them had actual "sea salt" listed in the ingredients, I think they just call it that to sound cool. x3 But probably the rest of the ingredients were way more legit than McDonald's.

I also had sea salt gelato...
Of that...I admit I was not a huge fan. xD

And I have had something like a klondike bar, but it was sea salt ice cream inside a sea-shell shaped cookie. x3

It's a simple ice cream in Japan, but it's a summer thing, I think. In the winter, it's harder to find, but I'm sure it's possible to get it if you search hard enough.
