I rarely seem to draw Mavericks, so it seems only right that the first one I drew was also the first one i fought. I went with the "Maverick Hunter X" design for him because i really like the designs for all the bosses.

Hehe yeah but I found it easy stay there and attack and jump when he slides or tries to push the ice statues at you

Yeah, too bad he didn't learn to scoot up the walls like X.

I seem to remember a similar strategy for Sigma's 2nd phase in the final battle.

Apparently, this evil organization had a fatal gap in it's training program.

Once you realize the dash boots are in his level, he should be the first one you visit EVERY time.

(Glad they made the dash a standard move in later X games)
