Yeah, now what sort of effects he'd use needs to be determined. Does he RFP a card that bounces others, or something like an Azorius card that has detain or another effect like it...
He could also use it to effectively ignore Dovescape for a turn, but that's pretty situational. I'd have to think about what he would do with a card like Venser. Too many options. :P

Heh, feel free to show me, there's just too many cards that bounce, detain, remove other cards from play, destroy things, or have other effects. Magic's been around for a long time, and they've released thousands of cards that would have effects I'd like to use.
I have a hard time deciding if I want to use a theme deck or just go with the abilities to try to take advantage of Venser or just have him as a perk in a deck designed to do something else, like an Azorius deck. :P
