I actually took this picture over a week ago when snow closed the college for the morning. We got about 8 inches overnight. I went out to take a picture as the light started to go away, and I got some real nice shots. Here is one of my faves.

well crap...oh well..dosn't hurt to dream...haha...i just thought of something...take a ruler and place it on the ground...and then take out a "foot" of snow and put it in a baggie...then if someone bitches about it you can say.."im sorry...i couldn't come in...i got a foot of snow." XD
You guys got slammed with today's storm too eh? We got a few inches, not really..much but driving in the state was a mess. And yep, that Nor-ester, they're saying it's gonna be a beast.
I'm in Vermont. I'm about...hmmm.... 5 hours from Connecticut? Or a lil less depending on the route :D

Awww, yea not likely at all. Plus I guess it might throw some people into panic (I remember when like..one of the Carolina's got an inch of snow. The people flipped out and there were cars all off the road).
Don't the flakes look pretty, in any snow picture? I love how they're just...right there xD
