Did Ryuu really do good on his own!
I think it was because Renamon is one of my favorite cartoon characters and I didn't want to mess it up.

Yeah! The proportions are great, the torso is so smooth, and the expression is great! You should do more with this body type, you've got this one down!

It's just that for some reason, I never had trouble drawing my fox character before. Can you believe that! I'm glad that there's a style that I can use properly.

Don't be afraid to try other ones though! Don't stick yourself in a rut with one single body type, but keep it, if you know it works. Just.. branch out too.
