this is just something i tried in MY NEW SKETCHBOOK! i'm glad i got a new one, since the last one only has one page left.

so, back on subject, i'm sorry you can't really see it, but this is Merili sleeping in what i think i'm going to call the sleeping tides. it's basically a resting place/water source that the vullage uses. since they live on the side of a river, or a lake. so this place has a door or gate on it so that they can fill it up when it runs low. but they have basically waterbenders that clean and purify the water. and all this other technical stuff that probably is pointless to say. i hope to bring this place to life someday if i ever make a comic on it.

so that whole explenation was to try to explain what the background is supposed to be. it's supposed to be coral at the bottom off the reserve, i wish the lighter colors i put on the picture would have been scanned in. it kid of puts a light blue layer over the picture to make it look like it's under water.....
