Yes. You are a bad person if you ignore your damn screaming child in the middle of a store, restaurant, whatever. Either discipline the kid or take them to the bathroom or SOMETHING. YOU may have taught yourself to drown them out BUT OTHER PEOPLE HAVEN'T.

Omgh going to see 300 and some dumb ass brought a two year old into a rated R MOVIE!! OMGH what the fuck are people thinking?! Then the same thing happened with the Immortals movie X.X I swear if I was that persons mother who happened to know her grand baby got scared shitless *growls* makes me sad and sickened that these .....*calms down* sorry I can rant about this forever...its horrible.
Just grab the kid by the ankles, and use it as a bludgeoning weapon.... Just beat the parent to death. I work retail, and it's obvious when the kid is a spoiled brat. There's one girl who throws a fit everytime her grandma takes her to the store, and it's obvious she doesn't NEED ANY F*CKING CANDY when she looks like she's like 150 lbs when she's probably like 6. She's rather fat, and it seems she keeps getting fatter. MODERATION, PEOPLE! If a kid screams and throws tantrums because she's not getting her way, don't give in. That's not the kind of behavior you want to reward. Use rewards for good behavior, not tantrums.
It's almost as bad out in the parking lot.
I'm a cart pusher at Wal-Mart and let me tell you, out in the lots the parents get right to disciplining!
I can't even begin to describe the awkwardness of seeing a parent scream at their child and having to stand there and wait for them to move so I can collect their cart!

There was one time this lady brought a kid who would literally scream in a high pitched ear-piercing voice... every 5 fucking seconds throughout the whole store... >_<
My coworkers and I were not pleased until the lady left...

What about the parent that gives a kid a toy in the store to keep the kid quiet, then once the kid is attached to the toy the parent takes it from the child. Oh man the screaming and tantrum that happens right after makes me wonder why they wanted a kid in the first place.
I have to step in on this...( wear riot gear)
I have had time where my daughter step out of line and I gave her glares and what not while she pulled the "evil little child card" on me. As a parent I get scared to want to discipline my child on the spot because you get theses holy er then now people stating " Oh that bad parenting" Trust me it's not easy being a parent when your child at the fool.
But wait till we get out of the store...
But I do hate the parents that give everything to their kids and don't correct then on their please and thank you .

I take it a lot of you haven't dealt with autistic children when they have meltdowns. Sometimes, it's all you can do (ignore it). Sometimes you really just have to take them outside and sit there til they calm themselves down.
However, I have never taken my children to places that's inappropriate for their ages, like a movie when they are too young, etc.

I've.. learned.. sometimes there's nothing you can do, especially if they're at diaper age. e_e; My mate babysits for some friends Monday through Friday and hogod that child is ALWAYS SCREAMING >w<;; There's almost nothing you can do. They're trying to teach him to not scream and cry for everything. You basically have to ignore the bad habits and praise and encourage good ones. In the meanwhile-- ignoring the screaming. Seriously, nothing you can do. Especially if they're sitting in a chair, confined, not able to go and grab and chew on and touch and play with everything that their little screaming heart desires to.
Still though, this sounds more like directed at kids who are discipline age. So, I get it. x_x;
I see the issue in stores too where people get scornful looks from other people for disciplining their child. o.0; It seems like there's nothing you can do to please everyone. Ugh.
